Hi guys, long time no see.
Not long time ago, I just finished watched one of really hilarious Korean drama, the title is The Best Hit or Hit The Top. So what special about this drama, read on.
This drama tells about Yoo Hyun Jae (early20s) (play by Yoon Shi Yoon), a famous singer in a boy band called J2 that travel to the future in the year of 2017 from 1993. In 20 years, he learns that so much change, start from technology, the fact he is not there (Hyun Jae declared missing in 1994), and also he has a son with Bo Hee (early 40s) (his girlfriend in 1994).
He found his old studio, that in there, his manager and also his best friend, Gwang Jae (early40s) (play by Cha Tae Hyun), Bo Hee, his son (Ji Hoon) (early20s) live. Gwang Jae still runs World Entertainment that in 2017 just a small agency.
Accidentally meet Ji Hoon but couldn't reveal that he comes from the past, Hyun Jae said that he has an amnesia (He later called Da Bong because his favorite word is ddabbong (means thumbs Korea)). Hyun Jae then lived with Ji Hoon at the rooftop of his old studio. Ji Hoon does not live alone at his room but with his childhood friend that also the woman he likes (Choi Woo Seung) and with Mc Drill, Ji Hoon's friend at the agency. Ji Hoon and Mc Drill are trainees at an agency.
So, Hyun Jae, Mc Drill, Woo Seung, and Ji Hoon live together. All of them have their own problems. Hyun Jae tries to figure it out why he could missing in 1994 (is he just missing a dead?) and how to back to the past, Woo Seung is struggling to pass the bar exam to be civil worker while doing so many part time jobs, Ji Hoon and Mc Drill is trying to make their dreams to be artist come true.
Same with these youngsters, Gwang Jae and Bo Hee also have the story. Gwang Jae must save his entertainment business from going bankrupt and tell Bo Hee that actually, he really loves her. And Bo Hee that her career broken because pregnant must rearrange her life to be an artist again also try to erase her long waiting for Hyun Jae.
There also story about Soon Tae (chairman of World Entertainment) that fight for Alzheimer and his toddler granddaughter, Mal Sook. They also lived at Gwang Jae's house (World Entertainment).
All the story packed so well and really funny that will make you laugh till tears so many times. You also will be fall in love with the characters especially Hyun Jae and his cuteness. (I love you Yoon Shi Yoon since Flower Boy Next Door). And the scene where there was Soon Tae always hilarious. All the cast face is so humorous I think, hahahaha...
This drama tells us a lot about life struggle but with smooth ways. Like 'go get your dream', 'say what you need to say before it's too late', 'respect others' and 'think smart'. Also about friendship and mutual help.
Plus plus: There will be a love story between Woo Seung and Da Bong a.k.a Hyun Jae; There is Cha Eun Woo (Astro member) that really handsome (make you don't want to blink), he plays as a famous young artist that sing Hyun Jae's song that stolen by Young Jae (another member of J2).
Not just a good storyline, the soundtrack is nice. Some of them sing by top artist like Punch, Yoon Mi Rae, BoA, and Kyuhyun Super Junior. The songs are enjoyable. You can hear some in here.
