Twenty Again (A Review)

Heyho...
The latest Korean drama that I just watched.

How I summarize this drama?
A 38-year-old mother who realizes that she lost her 20 years of her life and want it back.

The characters:
Ha No Ra : A cheerful girl with big dreams that turn into Joseon woman (obedient) after married. She lost her youth and want a new start in life.
Kim Woo Chul : A Narcissistic person that think everything revolves around him. Love to lie to make his life easier and run from his mistakes. Think that he is the most important one. Quite ambitious. And solve everything in the contract.
Cha Hyun Seok : A man who can't move on. Stuck in the past. His heart still same even after 20 years. A gentleman, kind and also fair person.
Kim Yi Jin : An image is really important for her. Smart and kind woman.

The resume?
Ha No Ra wants to be a dancer, she moved to Seoul with her one and only family (her grandmother) and entered an art school. She and her friends (Ra Yoon Young and Cha Hyun Seok) make a dance club, she and Yoon Young as the dancers, Hyun Seok as the director. Actually, she and Hyun Seok fall in love each other, but no one of them knows that.

The problem comes when No Ra, accidentally, fall in love with Kim Woo Chul, one of her audience when she dances in one of the competition. Unfortunately, she is pregnant. Because of that, she married with Woo Chul and follow Woo Chul to Germany for 4 years to continuing his education.

20 years later, when his son is 20 years old, she is 38 years old, Woo Chul asked for a divorce. They agreed that they'll be divorced when Kim Min Soo (their only son) got into University. Ha No Ra thinks Woo Chul ask for divorce because he can't communicate with No Ra anymore (because of her level of education). So No Ra, study and surprisingly, got into University.

Then the story started, Ha No Ra got into W University as humanities freshman, Kim Min Soo (No Ra's son) got into W University too, and out of the blue Woo Chul transfer and be a professor in that University too.  Daebak... A family goes to same University.

The love triangle, or maybe square started too. Cha Hyun Sook is a professor in W Uni, major Theater. No Ra not just spend the University life with her family (her husband in the divorce process and her son) but also with his first love. Later, we found out that Kim Woo Chul had an affair with Kim Yi Jin (one of the profs at W University) and because of that he asked for a divorce.

Simply like this, No Ra is confused about her heart (between Woo Chul of Hyun Seok), Woo Chul (the most ambitious and narcissistic person this drama) chose Kim Yi Jin because her status (wealth, position, so on) but her pure heart love No Ra. Hyun Seok loves No Ra and Yi Jin loves Woo Chul. Square Love (Korean Drama standard).

What I learned from this drama:
- Live as you wish as you dream it is. With that, you'll feel truly alive.
- And even the time passed and you lost your "peak" time, remember, you always could choose what kind of life would you live.
- Don't standard your life based on others.
- And the last but not least, always be happy and grateful.

Really deep and nice message for life.
This drama also depicts:
- A life of University Student in Korea. Study and study and study. Quite a hard life I think.
- Influence of family matters to the student.
- Influence of the pressure that family gives to the student.
- The study is really important for life but also playing.

I think it's enough.
Is this drama funny? quite funny but not very. the funniest I think is Kim Woo Chul’s character.

Why should you watch this?
like I said before, it has a deep and nice message for life. For which better way of life that you choose.  Not so much romance here, I mean "touch" romance like a kiss, hug and so. But the romance is more.. hmmm.. like commitment, tolerance, and partner for life.

Hope you watch this and feel as I feel.. haha.. by the way, I just watched this for 2 days, haha... drama marathon :) :)

Happy Friday!!
